Happy new year everyone, well just
If you tried to look at the site since mid December we had a problem
with bandwidth exceeding
Currently we are on a freehost till we get a larger host
and the bandwibth for people viewing is very only 100mb
which we did not realise
reviews can also be found on the music world radio site
we will venture to sort out a larger host do we dont get this problem on a coninual basis
Apologies for the inconvenience

Major annocement
This magazine has now refocused on three main area's
Oxfordshire music
Music reviews
Music World Radio
All these will include videos of bands, promotion of shows on Music World Radio
local events and once a month features

Top 20 chart show
In the Music world radio section which is being built at the moment
The station has started an offical 100% listeners chart show
Every week on Friday at 10-12pm(U.K time) there is song by song rundown of the chart
There are also the songs nominated and some will be played
Also now every Monday i do a quick readout of the chart
and play the top 2 and some nominations, which is broadcast at 8.30pm every Monday on the Music magazine show

PODCASTS
Finally up on a page, podcasts we have up on Podomatic
Interviews, by various artists and producers in the U.K and America
To promote it and to keep it local for the front page
is the show and interview i did in December 2009 wich Trance Dj Jake DC

He ran the Electric Odyssey for most of 2009 at the Liquid Lounge in Banbury
But now after the liquid lounge closed he has renamed the event
ACTIVATE and is now at TJ's bar

Sad news
The place in Banbury where you could buy local music, gig tickets and from Beatle mugs to 7" singles and drum & bass
has now folded

21st November, the shop shut its doorThey are on facebook and myspace and have an ebay shop
But due to the lease being on the the street shop premises
the decided to close
Paul Lyle could not keep up two business
the other, being his main one, the tile company he has
Now the only place to buy new music is HMV and after 21 years
Within the last 40 years, there have been several record shops in Banbury
That was the last independant store and selling vinyl
If anyone is planning to open a record shop in the area, let us know

Charity music stall
New year for the charity stall
Since November
have been holding a one a month market stall for Help the Aged As a few people that donated to the charity on the day said " We may need it some day"
This is for handmade crafts
and now after a bit of thought selling vinyl
Aside from the actual charity shops in town no one is selling vinyl in town after all these years
so it was about time something was done
This is more important now Record Savings has closed
There is no where for local or national artists in /or come in the area
to sell their CD's or even vinyl and merchandise
The next stall will be Febuary after the cold weather has subsided a bit
